THERAPIST (1.15 Lingfield, nap)
She has been on the brink of winning both on the Flat and over hurdles, finishing just short at 1m2f last time out. She was gaining momentum towards the end, and Nicky Henderson wisely steps her up to 1m4f today. This could be crucial off a favorable mark.
WHIZZ BY (6.00 Southwell, nb)
She is in a position to achieve her hat-trick. Currently in excellent form over this distance, she has comfortably won her last two races. A 5lb increase in weight poses a challenge, but Tom Ward’s filly is still likely to prevail.
PARADOXICAL (4.30 Southwell, treble)
She had enough left in the tank to win at Lingfield on New Year’s Eve. The longer distance suited her well, and she has further improvement to show.
STARDANCER (5.30 Southwell)
This one appears promising for the Lucky 15. He demonstrated potential on his debut at Newmarket and was narrowly defeated last time here. He still has more to offer in just his third outing.
