After his 4-1 victory over Alan Soutar in the 2022 quarter-finals, Callan said, “I was more into BMX than darts before I broke my foot.

“I used to take risks on my bike, but I won’t be trying flips and tricks again.

“Last year, I bought a bicycle and ended up breaking three bones in my foot, which left me in a moon boot for two and a half months.”
