SUPERVISOR (1.20 Warwick, nap)
This ten-year-old has limited racing experience, but his last run in a veteran handicap resulted in a comfortable six-length victory. Trained by Venetia Williams, the stayer is carrying a competitive weight, with the capable Ned Fox boosting his chances through a 3lb claim. He won on his return last season and looks ready for another successful outing.
PESCATORIUS (2.55 Warwick, nb)
He secured a comfortable victory in a modest race at Catterick on Saturday. Displaying more prominent riding last time, he showcased impressive jumping. He should handle a 7lb penalty and could be the type to score again in the near future.
KYLIAN (1.14 Lingfield, treble)
He delivered an impressive performance at Newcastle last month and finished strongly in second at Southwell. With a good position in stall four, he should have an ideal run; the faster they go, the more it will benefit him.
Templegate’s tips
Lingfield
11.14 King David
Only narrowly beaten last time; can improve to secure a win.
11.44 Tabby
Has been performing well despite setbacks, ready for another try at 7f.
12.14 This Farh
Strong turf credentials; recent gelding should enhance focus.
12.44 Friday Again
Showed promise that suggests she can excel in handicaps.
1.14 Kylian (treble)
In fantastic form; a quick pace suits his style.
1.44 Royal Champion
Group-level horse with ample speed.
2.14 Justcallmepete
Just missed out at Southwell last time; can challenge again.
2.47 Sovereign Knight
Was exposed too much last time; can improve with cover.
3.22 Pablo Prince
Was slow to engage last time; Luke Morris maintains a good relationship with him.
Warwick
12.20 Elle Est Beau
Full of experience and expected to improve with age.
12.50 Realta Liath
Showed promise on hurdling debut and looks a strong contender.
1.20 Supervisor (nap)
Low mileage for a ten-year-old with a solid record when fresh.
1.50 John W Creasy
Well-supported after winning at Lingfield; can handle a 6lb rise.
2.20 I’m A Starman
May need the run but stays well; Cobden is in the saddle.
2.55 Pescatorius (nb)
Showed impressive form at Catterick last time and is expected to win again.
3.30 No Drama This End
Cost £160,000 and holds a high regard from the trainer.
Uttoxeter
12.30 Star Of Diamonds
Travelled smoothly but tired on return at Haydock.
1.00 Benassi
Finished strongly at Leicester; this race seems easier.
1.30 Twp Stori
Strong stayer; gritty victory at Lingfield and shows more potential to offer.
2.00 Eaton Anne
Underperformed at Plumpton, but recent wind surgery should assist.
2.30 Jo Lescribaa
Promising first chase at Ludlow recently.
3.05 Itsnoteasy
Point winner likely to improve now transitioning to chasing.
3.40 Harmony Heights
Well-bred and the yard does well in bumpers.
