WILLIE MULLINS’ remarkably talented racehorse It’s For Me has sadly passed away due to a serious injury acquired at Leopardstown.
The owner, Simon Munir, confirmed the tragic news regarding the six-year-old gelding.
It’s For Me was the 11-8 favorite for the beginners chase in the Irish event.
Regrettably, he was pulled up after the second fence despite having taken an early lead with jockey Daryl Jacob.
In a post on X, Munir shared, “Unfortunately It’s For Me suffered a fatal injury this afternoon at Leopardstown. He was an incredibly gifted horse and will be deeply missed by everyone!”
