EMMA PATON charmed the audience at Alexandra Palace as the World Darts Championship kicked off again following the Christmas break.
The Sky Sports presenter played a significant role in the pre-tournament advertisements, which included a funny skit about a “marriage proposal gone wrong” produced by PaddyPower.
Her status among darts fans continues to be strong throughout the tournament.
Paton, aged 30, was seen on screen in an eye-catching black dress embellished with shimmering silver flowers.
Fans took to social media to share their praise for her appearance.
One fan wrote: “Emma Paton. Wow.”
Another commented: “Emma Paton is back on the screen today; what a delight.”
A third said: “Emma Paton… absolutely gorgeous!!”
One more stated: “Is Emma Paton currently the best presenter on television?”
Today’s darts action featured Damon Heta achieving the tournament’s second nine-darter in a 4-3 defeat to Luke Woodhouse.
In their respective matches, Jonny Clayton and Stephen Bunting also triumphed over Daryl Gurney and Madars Razma.
Later tonight, Gerwyn Price will go head-to-head with Joe Cullen, with Peter Wright and Luke Humphries also set to take the stage.
Paton transitioned to hosting in 2019.
In an exclusive interview with SunSport earlier this year, Paton detailed her experiences of working in a vibrant darts setting.
She mentioned: “It gets incredibly loud. Sometimes, it feels like a wall of noise.
“There are times when I genuinely can’t hear what Wayne Mardle, Mark Webster, or John Part are saying. I can’t even hear the director speaking in my ear.
“I have to depend on hoping we’re in sync on the running order and that not too much has changed.
“Collaborating with Wayne has been great; he’s always been encouraging. He’s someone who truly wishes to elevate those around him.
“He’s like the Gary Neville of Sky Sports Darts—engaging, with unparalleled analysis and incredible stories!”
