WREXHAM encountered “nightmare” conditions as thick fog hampered gameplay on the field.
The Welsh squad – co-owned by Hollywood stars Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds – faced Blackpool on Boxing Day.
Initially, the forecast predicted temperatures of nine degrees with overcast skies and breezy conditions.
However, the actual scene was a pitch enveloped in fog, making it challenging for players to locate the yellow match ball at times.
Blackpool struck first in the match, with Ashley Fletcher scoring from a cross just three minutes into play.
Unfortunately, Sky Sports News’ cameras struggled to capture the moment Fletcher scored against keeper Mark Howard.
One spectator commented: “Watching this Wrexham game, and this fog must be giving headaches for the V1/V2 officials.”
Another user stated: “This fog is worsening.”
A different fan quipped: “How could he see where the goal was with all this fog?”
Another added: “Can’t see a thing.”

Wrexham managed to equalize in the 24th minute, courtesy of star forward Paul Mullin.
The striker celebrated his goal by donning a Deadpool mask, paying tribute to co-owner Reynolds.
Interestingly, Mullin made a cameo in the third Deadpool film, portraying a character named “Welshpool.”
