Players from MANCHESTER United are optimistic that their counterparts from Manchester City can help them secure VIP tickets for the upcoming Oasis reunion concerts.

City players Jack Grealish, John Stones, Kyle Walker, and Phil Foden have a strong friendship with Noel and Liam Gallagher, often seen together in the locker room celebrating derby victories.

The Oasis brothers are known for teasing United about their recent lack of trophies.

Nonetheless, United players are confident that the bonds they’ve developed with City players through international duty and various occasions will be advantageous.

Tickets might be directed to players such as Red Devils’ Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes.

A source commented: “The lads from United are used to having the most coveted tickets around. They typically have numerous connections to help them secure what they want.

“However, they know that reaching out to Liam or Noel won’t yield much, which is why they are counting on their City friends to utilize their connections.” Oasis is scheduled to perform at Heaton Park in Manchester in July.

Grealish admitted he hadn’t secured tickets from Noel yet because he was uncertain about the timing of City’s fixtures in the Club World Cup next summer.

But he assured: “Trust me, I’ll be there. It’ll be my first chance to see them live.”

Noel, a friend of City manager Pep Guardiola, has noted that most of his family supports United.

He mentioned: “Only me, Liam, and our brother Paul root for City. The rest of my family — about 6,000 of us — are United fans. But I’m grateful my dad took us to see City.”

Oasis disbanded in 2009, just a single year after City was taken over by the Abu Dhabi United Group. Since that time, the club has claimed eight Premier League titles.

In contrast, United has not won a title since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
