The game between YEOVIL TOWN and Hartlepool United has been momentarily suspended due to strong winds wreaking havoc at Victoria Park.
Both teams left the field after an advertising board was dislodged from one of the stands.
Referee Aaron Jackson paused the National League match midway through the first half.
With the score still 0-0, players were directed to the locker rooms while the situation was handled.
Footage from BBC Sport Tees showed two ground staff members climbing onto the Rink End, where Yeovil’s traveling supporters were seated.
The duo struggled to manage the loose sign before successfully detaching it, leading to cheers from fans of both sides.
The video quickly gained popularity online after the game was paused for 17 minutes.
One onlooker joked: “Good old health & safety.”
Another added with humor: “Peak non-league. PA announcement: ‘We are working to rectify the damage safely.’ Reality: Two men jump on the roof and rip it off. Game on!”
A third remarked: “Not sure there is much working-at-height safety in place there!”

A fourth jokingly suggested: “Get some gaffer tape on it.”
Play eventually continued after the quick resolution, with the full seventeen minutes added onto the first half.
Neither team managed to score in the North East, which experienced wind gusts of 50mph throughout the evening.
Yeovil currently stands on the verge of the National League playoffs, approaching the match with the hope of a third straight league victory.
Hartlepool, on the other hand, has made a name for itself by drawing games, having tied 9 of their 22 league matches this season.
