DARTS enthusiasts are requesting refunds following a technical malfunction with PDCTV during the Day 7 coverage from Ally Pally.
Bettors who logged on to watch the afternoon session of the PDC World Championships encountered a “wall of silence.”
Fans shared their frustrations on social media after trying to watch the opening match featuring Karel Sedlacek and Rhys Griffin.
The PDCTV broadcast began at 12:30 PM; however, numerous viewers reported that there was no sound throughout the stream.
After a 25-minute silence, the PDC released a statement on X.
They stated: “We are aware of a sound issue on PDCTV and are currently collaborating with our providers to resolve it.
“We appreciate your understanding.”
As the action got underway at the iconic Ally Pally, discontented fans who had paid for access became increasingly frustrated as the problems continued.
One user expressed on X: “Patience? Seriously… the stream has been live for 25 minutes with no sound, and it took this long to issue a statement? Time for refunds, this is unacceptable. I woke up at 6 AM in the States to watch this… I want to hear it too.”
Another wrote: “Are you going to turn the sound on? 20 minutes of silence… the matches have started, and still, there’s no audio… what’s happening?”

A third user pleaded: “Please fix the sound issues on PDC TV.”
A fourth commented: “This is the Worlds, it’s not just a Pro Tour; everything should be flawless.”
A fifth user added: “Total farce. I’ve never seen an event manage so poorly without major issues. PDCTV really needs a comprehensive overhaul.”
Darts fans are eagerly anticipating an action-packed Super Saturday from the Palace, with a lineup of eight matches.
Rising star Luke Littler will make his debut in this year’s tournament tonight against Ryan Meikle.
