HAKIM ZIYECH has made it clear that he intends to leave Galatasaray in January, stating that he “does not want” to stay with the club.
The attacking midfielder initially joined the Turkish squad on loan from Chelsea in 2023, a move that was later made permanent during the summer.
Ziyech, 31, had a successful inaugural season at Galatasaray, scoring eight goals in just 23 outings.
However, this season has seen a reduction in his playing time, with only 11 appearances so far.
The Moroccan international has openly criticized coach Okan Buruk.
He remarked that the manager operates at a level of competence that Ziyech is unfamiliar with.
The midfielder emphasized his intention to exit the club in the upcoming January transfer window.
Furthermore, he voiced regret over his choice to join Galatasaray originally.
He stated: “Galatasaray is over for me. I don’t want to play here anymore. I’m leaving in January.”
“I’ve never encountered a coach with such a low level.”

Ziyech had previously spent four years at Chelsea before his move to Turkey.
During his tenure at Stamford Bridge, he netted six goals in 64 Premier League matches.

Currently, Galatasaray is at the top of the Turkish Super Lig, boasting a six-point advantage.
