LIAM LAWSON has officially been appointed as Max Verstappen’s new teammate.
This announcement comes after Sergio Perez was let go on Wednesday.
The 34-year-old Perez struggled throughout the season in the second seat at Red Bull, ending up eighth in the World Drivers Championship, while the team secured third place in the World Constructors Championship.
Following months of speculation, Perez’s exit from Racing Bulls was confirmed, with 22-year-old Lawson stepping up as his replacement alongside Verstappen for the next season.
