FORMULA 1’s Christian Horner bid farewell to a challenging year as he was awarded a CBE, accompanied by his wife, the former Spice Girl Geri.
The Red Bull chief, aged 51, received this prestigious honor from King Charles yesterday in recognition of his significant contributions to the world of motorsport.
Geri, aged 52, looked more Posh than Baby Spice in a sophisticated netted veil with a matching headband.
This honor signifies the conclusion of a turbulent period for the racing executive, who was recently cleared of allegations concerning inappropriate messages sent to a colleague.
Upon reflecting on his interaction with the King during the ceremony held at Buckingham Palace, he noted: “He was charming.”
Horner encountered allegations of sending late-night texts to a woman in her 40s, which were reported to human resources at the racing team.

This prompted a thorough internal investigation into misconduct, threatening Horner’s tenure as the head of Red Bull, a position he has held since 2005.
The situation added strain to his marriage, with reports indicating that Geri felt “mortified and angry” towards her husband of nine years.
An internal investigation exonerated Horner in February, and his accuser’s appeal was dismissed in August. Horner expressed he was “relieved” to be cleared.
At present, he and Geri, who have a seven-year-old son, are moving beyond the controversy and focusing on the future.
Last Friday, the couple displayed a loving connection during the FIA Awards in Kigali, Rwanda.
Horner has also mended relations with Max Verstappen’s father Jos – who was rumored to have sought Horner’s removal during the inquiry.
