South African striker Khanyisa Mayo has maintained his impressive form by scoring for the second straight league match, helping CR Belouizdad secure a convincing 3-0 victory over JS Saoura on Tuesday night as their Ligue 1 campaign resumed.

Abderrahmane Bentahar initiated the scoring for the Chababists early in the second half, followed by Aymen Mahious, who increased the lead in the 52nd minute. The former Cape Town City forward completed the scoring just five minutes later, ensuring the full points remained in Algiers.

Mayo, who joined Belouizdad in the off-season, seems to be adjusting well in North Africa under newly appointed coach Abdelkader Amrani, earning consecutive starting roles for the first time since October.

The 26-year-old striker has proven his worth by scoring crucial goals, having netted his first Ligue 1 goal during a 2-0 win over ASO Chlef earlier this month.
