In a poignant social media message, Jamie ‘Jay’ Gray has made a heartfelt request for the return of his father’s watch, recounting the events from his perspective.

His message on X, formerly known as Twitter, read: “My dad sadly collapsed and passed away during the Wolves game last Monday night. He had to be carried up the stairs from his seat in block 123 for CPR, and his watch went missing in the process. We are desperate to have it back.”

The post featured a joyful selfie of father and son in front of a football pitch.

“A reward will be offered for any information that leads to the watch’s return. My dad wore it daily, and it holds immense significance for our family,” the message continued.

Jay added: “We hope that anyone connected to West Ham, along with others willing to assist, can help in retrieving this cherished piece of jewelry during this difficult time.”

He added: “His family is appealing to all of us to help find the watch that’s gone missing. Please, let someone return it.”
