Tyson Fury has voiced doubt regarding his father, John, being in his corner for the heavyweight title rematch against Oleksandr Usyk this Saturday.
Fury Snr received backlash for giving his son “awful and unprofessional” guidance during Usyk’s majority points win back in May.
In an alarming incident, he headbutted a member of Usyk’s team right before the significant Riyadh superfight.
When questioned about his father’s potential presence in the corner again in Saudi Arabia this Saturday, the Gypsy King, 36, remarked: “I don’t know.”
“I try not to get caught up in all that nonsense.
“I simply go to the gym, train, compete, earn my paycheck, and return home. That’s my usual routine.”
Television cameras recorded Fury Snr shouting over trainer SugarHill Steward and giving contradictory advice during their previous matchup.
Britain’s former world super-middleweight champion Carl Froch expressed his discontent: “That was unacceptable. Really poor and unprofessional conduct in his corner.
“When John Fury is in the corner, shouting at you along with two others offering guidance, it means you’re not truly absorbing any of it.”
Steward, assistant trainer Andy Lee, and cuts man Frank Hopkins will all return to Fury’s corner.

Nevertheless, Lee acknowledges his uncertainty about Fury Sr’s attendance this time, commenting: “Who knows how things will unfold? I certainly don’t.
“The last time, the corner was quite chaotic, particularly near the fight’s conclusion.
“There were three distinct voices in there: SugarHill, John, and myself.
“From a father’s standpoint, I understand his desire to protect his son.
“Yet SugarHill was concentrated on achieving victory.
“I was informed that Tyson was down by two rounds, and it was my responsibility to communicate that to him.”
