DILLIAN WHYTE is gearing up to return to the boxing ring this WEEKEND, facing off against Ghanaian heavyweight Ebenezer Tetteh!

The bout is set to take place in Gibraltar, the same location where Whyte avenged his previous loss in a contentious rematch with Alexander Povetkin in 2021.

Whyte, 36, shared his enthusiasm about returning to the ring as he looks to reassert his position in the heavyweight championship scene.

The Body Snatcher stated to Sky Sports: “I’m feeling fantastic, and it’s thrilling to be back in the spotlight, possibly rejoining the heavyweight ranks.

“I’ve truly missed this. I had some time off, but now I recognize how much I crave those major fights.

“We’re facing a formidable adversary. He carries a record of 23-1, with his only loss to Daniel Dubois, so I must approach this seriously and prepare both mentally and physically.

“I’ve been out of action for a while, and he has remained active; just look at what Dubois accomplished against Anthony Joshua. Now, he’s a world champion, so underestimating someone of his caliber would be a mistake.”

Whyte (30-3) last appeared in March, winning by points against Christian Hammer in Dublin, while Tetteh holds a record of 23-1, with his sole defeat to Daniel Dubois at the Royal Albert Hall in 2019.
