A medical emergency disrupted the Women’s Super League match between Tottenham and Brighton.
With just three minutes left in the game at the Broadfield Stadium, the match was put on hold.
Initially, players from both teams stayed on the field.
However, they eventually proceeded down the tunnel, increasingly worried about a fan in the stands.
Medical staff promptly responded to the supporter in urgent need of help.
The match experienced a 14-minute delay before players returned to conclude the game.
Spurs released a statement on social media saying: “Our thoughts are with the individual receiving care.”
Brighton also remarked: “Everyone at Albion sends their best wishes.”
No additional updates have been provided regarding the fan’s condition.
