LUKE HUMPHRIES is set to pursue back-to-back victories at the upcoming World Darts Championship.
His partner Kayley Jones will support him every step of the way – SunSport has all the details about Cool Hand Luke’s family.
Who is Kayley Jones and how many children does she have with Luke Humphries?
Kayley Jones, born in 1994, is the partner of world darts No. 1 player, Luke Humphries.
As they get closer to the US Darts Masters in May 2024, Humphries announced their engagement to his long-time girlfriend Kayley.
Cool Hand shared his exciting moment on Instagram, noting: “A moment I’ve been waiting to cherish for a long time… I just wanted to hold off until the right moment!
“Today was that moment—on the edge in New York, just the two of us, I popped the question. Proud to say, Kayley said yes!”
Kayley is a mother of two; her first child, Grace, was born in 2013, and her second, Rowan Ellis, was welcomed on October 9, 2022.
The family is based in Crewe, Cheshire.
It remains unclear whether Kayley had Grace with Luke or a former partner, as some sources suggest he became a father for the first time in 2022.
Kayley keeps a low profile on social media but shares family moments with her followers from time to time.
For Grace’s birthday, she posted on Instagram with a heartfelt caption: “Happy 10th birthday Gracie” accompanied by a heart emoji.
Luke announced their new baby’s arrival in 2022 via Facebook:
“Absolutely overwhelmed to welcome my and Kayley Marie’s son into the world last night at 10:09 PM, weighing 7 pounds 9 ounces!
“I’m in awe of how amazing Kayley was throughout the process. She showed incredible strength during labor, and I’m so proud of her.
“We have named him ‘Rowan Ellis Humphries’; both mom and baby are well and settling in at home now!”
Who is Luke Humphries and what’s his darts record?
Luke Humphries was born on February 11, 1995, in Newbury, Berkshire.
Although he is currently a prominent darts champion, he grew up in a football-loving family.
His father, an ardent Leeds United supporter, named him Luke after his favorite team, with the letters of his name symbolizing “Leeds United Kings of Europe.”
As of now, Luke is ranked World No. 1 and is the reigning world darts champion after his victory over Luke Littler in the 2024 final.
While he played darts during his teenage years, Luke turned professional at the age of 21 and has since averaged playing over 1000 legs per year.
Cool Hand Luke secured his first major title at the 2023 World Grand Prix, defeating favorite Gerwyn Price and earning £120,000 in prize money.
