Tomorrow at 8:00 PM, the team captain and her colleagues will face FC Twente at Stamford Bridge, targeting the top position in Group B.

While they have already secured a place in the tournament’s knockout stage, Chelsea aims to extend their winning streak to 14 matches across both Europe and the WSL this season.

For the 31-year-old Bright, the goal of maintaining an unbeaten streak is ever-present.

The center-back, who marked ten years with the Blues today, hopes to leave a legacy that reflects the team’s “winning DNA.”

Bright, whose squad is still undefeated this season, shared, “I want my legacy to revolve around winning.

“I’ve always believed that from the outset, ever since I lifted that first trophy.

“I want Chelsea to sustain that winning DNA and monster mentality.

“I often joke about being a surprise signing. No one saw my arrival coming, and there were plenty of doubts.

“I hope everyone can look at my journey and realize that with the right mentality, attitude, and effort, success is attainable in any environment.”

Since her transition from Doncaster Rovers Belles in 2013, after they exited the league, Bright has claimed seven WSL titles, four FA Cups, and two Women’s League Cups.

However, one significant trophy she has yet to win is the Women’s Champions League.

Bright is optimistic that her tenth season with Chelsea could be the one where she secures this coveted title.

She noted, “Participating in that Champions League final against Barcelona three years ago is a memorable experience that I hope to replicate.

“I have no regrets about the result. I learned so much from that experience.

“Everyone knows that’s the trophy we’re aiming for.

“We have chased it for so long, and that focus has not changed.

“That is our ultimate goal.”
