MANCHESTER UNITED is reportedly receptive to offers for Marcus Rashford during the upcoming January transfer window.
The Red Devils might contemplate letting him go to help finance new manager Ruben Amorim.
Rashford, 27, was once viewed as an essential player at Old Trafford, having progressed through the club’s youth ranks.
However, the striker has struggled with his performance over the past year, managing only four goals in 15 Premier League outings this season.
Remarkably, he has found the net three times in the four league matches under Amorim since he took over from Erik ten Hag.
Regardless, his improved form does not seem to secure his future at the club.
Sky Germany has reported that Manchester United “would part with” Rashford by the summer at the latest.
In addition, it’s claimed that the club is “open to substantial offers” in the upcoming January transfer window.
The report emphasizes that while they acknowledge his advancement under Amorim, a transfer is not out of the question.
The primary reason for considering the sale of the academy graduate is his “exorbitant salary,” which could help alleviate concerns under Financial Fair Play regulations.

The previously coveted England international is reportedly earning a remarkable £325,000 per week.
His contract is valid until 2028, following an extension he signed in July 2023.
If Rashford were to leave, Manchester United would achieve greater “flexibility” in the transfer market.
Amorim has previously stressed the need to find a “solution” for Rashford.
He remarked: “We need to identify the right solution for him, but he must embrace who he truly is.”
“First and foremost, we need to return to that level.”
Since Amorim assumed control, there have been several intriguing transfer candidates linked with the club.
Reportedly, Amorim wishes to sign three talents from Sporting Lisbon to accompany him at Old Trafford.
This includes notable forward Viktor Gyokeres, who has scored 25 goals in 22 appearances this season across all competitions.
Additionally, defensive midfielder Morten Hjulmand and center-back Goncalo Inacio would add much-needed strength to the squad.
Meanwhile, club legend Rio Ferdinand has insisted that the management must “swiftly clear out players”.
Three Sporting stars Amorim could pursue after joining Man Utd
RUBEN AMORIM has dismissed the idea of obtaining any of his former Sporting Lisbon players in the January transfer window.
Nevertheless, officials at the Portuguese club anticipate that Amorim will make inquiries in the summer, with funds readily accessible.
Here are three Sporting stars that United could target… although they won’t come cheap:
VIKTOR GYOKERES
Age: 26
Position: Striker
Cost: £84million
The Swede has made a significant impact since joining Sporting last summer from Coventry, catching the eye of elite clubs across Europe.
He netted 43 goals in 50 matches last season and has already tallied 18 this year.
GONCALO INACIO
Age: 23
Position: Defender
Cost: £50million
This ball-playing center-back debuted under Amorim and has become a crucial player in Sporting’s recent title wins.
He can also operate at left-back if necessary and has earned 12 caps for Portugal.
MORTEN HJULMAND
Age: 25
Position: Midfield
Cost: £40million
The Dane is regarded as one of the top holding midfielders in Portugal and was appointed captain by Amorim.
He could serve as an ideal successor to Casemiro.
