This horse is expected to thrive over this longer distance after a solid performance at Carlisle last time. He finished strongly there, and this more challenging handicap debut under Lucinda Russell should suit him perfectly.
BRIGHT (5.00 Newcastle, nb)
He has won both of his starts at Gosforth Park, including his latest race where he had plenty of energy left. Despite facing some difficulties, he was capable of a better run, indicating he can handle a 5lb rise in the weights.
YOU SOME GIRL (12.45 Musselburgh, treble)
She showed impressive form when winning by seven lengths just ten days ago. While she’s moving up in weights, her continued improvement and good relationship with today’s claiming rider bode well.
METKAYINA (1.30 Lingfield, Lucky 15)
