DAN ASHWORTH has reportedly left Manchester United.
The sporting director had spent just five months with the Old Trafford club.
Ashworth joined the club after an extended break following his exit from Newcastle.
The 53-year-old was appointed by Man Utd to oversee “football performance, recruitment, and operations”.
However, after a key discussion with CEO Omar Berrada last night, following the 3-2 loss to Nottingham Forest, Ashworth has left by mutual consent.
