ANGE POSTECOGLOU acknowledged that Tottenham fans had valid reasons for their frustration after a disappointing display against Bournemouth.
The Spurs boss found himself in a heated exchange with disgruntled supporters post-match, which featured Dean Huijsen threading through weak defense to score from a corner in the 17th minute.
So far this season, Postecoglou’s squad has secured only one win—the 4-0 triumph against Manchester City—in their last six games over the past month.
The beleaguered coach remarked: “They’re upset and justifiably so. They voiced their feelings plainly, and I acknowledge that.
“It’s never easy to receive criticism as a human, but it’s something you must accept.
“I’ve been around long enough to understand that when difficulties arise, it’s vital to recognize the fans’ frustration and disappointment.
“They have a right to feel disillusioned, as we threw away a match of football. That’s fair. I can manage that.
“All I can say is that I’m genuinely dissatisfied (with the performance), and I am fully committed to effecting changes and will strive relentlessly to achieve them.”
Postecoglou, 59, initially seemed to irritate the disgruntled away fans by not approaching them after the match.
He later directed attention to one supporter, inviting them over.

As he approached the away fans, the Spurs manager was seen shaking his head and gesturing for calm amidst the presence of stewards.
Postecoglou briefly engaged with another distressed supporter before clapping and departing.
When asked for more details on the “direct feedback” received from fans, the former Celtic manager chose not to provide specifics, saying: “Probably not appropriate for here.”
This situation raises concerns ahead of Sunday’s clash against arch-rivals Chelsea, who currently hold an eight-point advantage over tenth-placed Spurs.
To complicate matters further, Spurs have lost Ben Davies to a hamstring injury, leaving them with a depleted squad with three central defenders unavailable.
Huijsen, 19, found the net for the Cherries, who played decisively and could have extended their lead.
‘HE IS GOOD NEWS FOR US’
Cherries’ head coach Andoni Iraola commented: “It’s been an outstanding victory.
“I was particularly impressed with our defensive performance. We limited them to very few chances.
“(Dean Huijsen) was remarkable defensively and also contributed with a goal.
“His height is certainly an advantage during set-pieces. He is a valuable asset for our team.”
Huijsen was included in the lineup due to Marco Senesi’s quadriceps injury.
Iraola added: “It’s quite serious. He will be out for an extended period.”
