ALEXANDRA PALACE is poised to become a highly sought-after venue when the World Darts Championship returns later this month.
Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, and other top players will converge at the iconic location from Sunday, December 15 to Friday, January 3.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating ticket availability for months as they get ready to see the top players vie for impressive prize funds.
But is it still possible to snag darts tickets? We’ve compiled all the details below.
Are World Darts Championship tickets still available for purchase?
Yes, in brief – but brace yourself for high prices, and some risks are attached.
World Championship tickets first went on sale in July and sold out in record time.
Barry Hearn, a prominent figure in darts, indicated that 90,000 tickets were sold in just 15 minutes, with demand surpassing 300,000.
This rapid sell-out sparked grievances from fans as tickets were quickly listed on resale platforms at prices significantly higher than their original costs.
This situation has led Hearn to propose that the tournament could relocate from the 3,500-seat Ally Pally to a venue capable of hosting a larger audience.
This implies that no tickets are currently available for sale through official PDC channels.
However, alternative purchasing options are available.

How to Purchase World Darts Championship Tickets
Tickets remain accessible on various resale platforms, although the PDC has stated that they will nullify any tickets bought in this manner, posing a significant risk to purchasers.
The PDC website cautions: “We highly advise fans against purchasing tickets from third-party resale sites, including Viagogo and StubHub.”
“We consistently monitor all third-party platforms and cancel any tickets sold through these channels.”
It remains unclear how or if this measure will be enforced or if the PDC will release tickets elsewhere.
Tickets on secondary market platforms will also come at a premium, along with the added risk.
Recent findings indicate that the cheapest tickets are for afternoon sessions scheduled for this coming Monday and Tuesday.
These tickets currently range from £100-£150 each.
If you’re hoping to catch Littler in his debut match on Saturday night, be prepared to pay about £200 per ticket on resale sites.
Final ticket prices are around £220, but this is likely to escalate as the event date gets closer.
Potential buyers should proceed with caution.
