Nonetheless, Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, and Jadon Sancho all contributed to the score, ensuring a clean sweep of points on the road.

Excelled in duels and led among Chelsea players in tackles during the first half, delivering a brilliant assist for Sancho’s goal.

AXEL DISASI – 7

Opened the scoring for Chelsea with a simple header from a Fernandez corner.

TOSIN ADARABIOYO – 5

Seemed to lose concentration when Southampton leveled the score, almost allowing Aribo a clear shot on goal.

ENZO FERNANDEZ – 6

Assisted Disasi’s opener with a perfectly taken corner but was subsequently outplayed by Kyle Walker-Peters in the build-up to Aribo’s equalizer.

NONI MADUEKE – 7

Took advantage of a mistake by Joe Lumley to assist Nkunku. Scored Chelsea’s third with a composed finish into the bottom-left corner.

Had a quiet match until he took advantage of Nkunku’s deflected shot to score Chelsea’s fourth, only to be substituted right after.

JOAO FELIX – 6

Displayed good energy but missed a prime opportunity just before halftime and failed to convert an easy header shortly after the interval.

CHRISTOPHER NKUNKU – 7

Pushed Chelsea into a 2-1 lead with a simple finish in the opening 20 minutes but was relatively quiet for the remainder of the match.
