ALEX SCOTT celebrated Arsenal’s victory over Manchester United with her partner Jess Glynne at the Emirates Stadium last night.
The Gunners secured a 2-0 victory against the Red Devils, narrowing the gap to league leaders Liverpool to just seven points.
Despite the chilly weather in North London, Scott and Glynne bundled up to take in the match.
Their joy was evident when Jurrien Timber and William Saliba found the net, ensuring a win for the home side.
At 40, Scott had a remarkable tenure with Arsenal from 2005 to 2018, including two periods with the team.
Throughout her career, she amassed several accolades, including the Women’s Champions League title in 2007.
Scott continues to be a loyal supporter of her previous club.
After the game, Scott posted a video with Glynne outside the Emirates.
With a beaming smile, she remarked: “Date night. Does date night count if you’re at the football?”
Glynne responded with a smile, “Yeah.”
Scott made her relationship with singer Glynne public in November 2023, and their connection has intensified since then.
Earlier in October, The Sun reported that Scott’s position at the BBC might be in jeopardy.
The former footballer turned broadcaster conveyed that she felt “deeply hurt” due to a perceived “lack of support” from management regarding the declining viewership of Football Focus.
Scott is weighing several offers, including opportunities from the United States, as her contract with the BBC approaches its expiration next year.
