LIVERPOOL star Mohamed Salah is reportedly considering a major transfer to a rival in the Champions League.
The president of the European giant has offered his perspective on the possible move.
Salah, 32, has been outstanding this season, scoring 13 goals and providing 11 assists over 20 matches, helping the Reds reach the top of the Premier League.
However, the winger’s contract ends in June, and there have been no developments regarding a renewal for the Egyptian star, who has an impressive record of 224 goals and 100 assists in 369 appearances.
This situation has fueled speculation about a potential move to clubs in Saudi Arabia, with Al-Ittihad allegedly making a remarkable £150 million bid for Salah last year.
Paris Saint-Germain has also been mentioned as a likely destination for the Liverpool ace.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi enjoys a solid relationship with the former Roma player.
Nevertheless, Al-Khelaifi has refuted the transfer rumors linking Salah to Parc des Princes.
The businessman asserted that the speculation is “simply untrue” and that the French champions “never considered him.”
Al-Khelaifi told Sky Sports: “That’s not accurate. He is a fantastic and extraordinary player, but frankly, we never thought about signing him.”

“We know that every club would love to have him, but this rumor about us is completely false.”
Salah has suggested on multiple occasions that he may leave Liverpool by summer.
The forward remarked last month that there has been no offer from the Merseyside club and that he is “probably more out than in”.
The former Fiorentina player also hinted that Sunday’s 2-0 win against Manchester City—where he scored and assisted—could have been his last match against Pep Guardiola’s team at Anfield.
Regardless, Salah remains open to a new one-year contract despite growing frustrations regarding the club’s management of his situation.
