FEYENOORD striker Anis Hadj Moussa is emerging as a prominent target for Premier League teams as the January transfer window approaches.
The 22-year-old Algeria international is thriving in his first season in Rotterdam following a £3 million switch from Belgian club Patro Eisden, who play in the second division.
Hailing from Paris, Moussa is a talented left-footed right winger who played a pivotal role in Feyenoord’s stunning revival from a three-goal deficit to stop Manchester City’s winning streak in last week’s Champions League clash.
After the match, Feyenoord’s sporting director Dennis te Kloese joked with the winger in the Etihad tunnel, saying: “You’re no longer part of our team. Go to City’s dressing room; I’ve sold you to them.”
Moussa is now attracting interest from various Premier League clubs keen to enhance their squads with the January transfer window nearing, and Feyenoord is reportedly open to negotiations for offers in the vicinity of £10 million.
His signing was endorsed by former Liverpool manager Arne Slot before his move to Anfield, and both Leicester and Tottenham are also tracking his development.
Moussa’s representatives, Mohammed Dahmane and Hamzah Sadiek, have ventured to the UK to generate interest and aim to finalize a deal swiftly.
City seemed in control of the match, leading 3-0 by the 53rd minute, courtesy of two goals from Erling Haaland and one from Ilkay Gundogan.
Nevertheless, Moussa sparked the comeback in the 74th minute, setting the stage for Santiago Gimenez’s goal that narrowed it to 3-2, before David Hancko leveled the score just before the final whistle.
City manager Pep Guardiola appeared visibly exasperated after the match, emerging for his post-match interview with red scratches on his forehead.

This disappointing result extended the Premier League champions’ winless streak to six matches, which escalated to seven following Sunday’s loss to Liverpool.
Moussa has made his mark with four goals in 14 appearances for Feyenoord this season.
Additionally, he has scored two goals in four Champions League outings.
