Giovanna Buscacio, aged 25, who lives with 19-year-old Joao in Manchester and has an impressive following of 130,000 on Instagram, announced her pregnancy yesterday with a post featuring baby and milk bottle emojis, stating: “16 weeks and counting.”

In a follow-up, she shared a selfie resting her hand on her bare belly and a video of herself affectionately kissing Joao in a lift, along with pictures of the happy couple and a heartfelt message in both English and Portuguese, reading: “Mom and dad. Incomplete without you, my love, but we are already together.”

Joao responded with a sweet message: “I love you so much, my darling.”

Former Barcelona and AC Milan star Ronaldinho, seen at a football charity event in eastern China on Saturday, has not yet publicly commented on his social media regarding the news.

Joao, currently playing for Burnley U21s primarily as a right winger, is Ronaldinho’s only child.

His mother, former dancer Janaina Mendes, began dating the two-time FIFA World Player of the Year when she was a backup dancer on the famous Brazilian TV show “Domingão do Faustão.”

Though originally from Belo Horizonte, as noted on her Instagram, she currently resides in Barcelona.

At just 14, Joao Mendes signed his first contract with Nike in May 2019, alongside his stunning mother and Ronaldinho, who was the face of the brand when he won the FIFA World Player award in 2005.

The young talent hailing from Rio de Janeiro secured his first professional contract with Brazil’s Cruzeiro at just 13 before transitioning to Europe.

After some trials, he joined Barcelona’s youth team. Despite some progress in the U19 squad, he was let go by the Catalan club last summer and is now with Burnley’s U21 squad.

Ronaldinho proves he still has it at 44 with a stunning free-kick during an El Clasico Legends match

Joao’s girlfriend, a beautiful brunette, is the sister of actress Guillia Buscacio.

The couple has been together for over two years, and Giovanna frequently shares glimpses of their new life in England on social media.

Ronaldinho, who celebrated his 40th birthday while incarcerated in Paraguay for using a fake passport, is set to mark his 45th birthday on March 21.
