ONE Wolves fan did all he could to stop Justin Kluivert from making history yesterday.
The Bournemouth winger became the first player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick of penalties during the Cherries’ 4-2 win over Wolves.
As he prepared to take his record-setting third penalty in the 74th minute, one Wolves fan went to ridiculous lengths to distract him.
The bold Wolves supporter seized the opportunity in his seat directly behind Jose Sa‘s goal and dramatically STRIPPED DOWN to his underwear.
Although he braved the chilly late November air, the ambitious Wolves fan’s antics did not faze Kluivert, who coolly converted the penalty from 12 yards.
Nonetheless, other spectators reveled in the spectacle and took to social media to share their reactions.
One wrote: “So close, but it didn’t work.”
Another commented: “Nooooo. I can’t believe a fan did that and it totally backfired hahaha.”
A third remarked: “Doing this on live TV is insanity!”
A fourth quipped: “Worked like a charm.”
