FANS have observed Frank Lampard showcasing his trademark expression shift on his first day as manager of Coventry City.
The Chelsea legend was appointed as the new manager of the Championship side on Thursday.
Lampard, 46, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the club, succeeding Mark Robins in the position.
The newly appointed manager wasted no time getting to work, leading his first training session after being appointed.
Fans quickly spotted his iconic change of expression when the club shared a video from the practice.
Lampard smiled as he urged, “Let’s go,” to his new squad before abruptly turning serious and jogging away.
Supporters enjoyed witnessing the moment captured on camera, sharing their reactions enthusiastically on social media.
One user commented: “How long until we see the first Lampard face transformation as Coventry’s boss? I’m betting on 3 weeks. Nope, it happened in 15 seconds.”
A second commenter added: “Already happened.”
A third remarked: “15 seconds in. Classic.”
