REAL MADRID’S team coach has reportedly suffered a “breakdown” on the M40 motorway.
The European champions faced Liverpool last night at Anfield.
Prior to falling to a 2-0 defeat, Real Madrid players were seen arriving at Anfield in this same luxurious coach.
In the clips shared online, the stranded coach appeared to be caught behind a truck.
It remains unclear whether any players or staff were present on board, or if there were any injuries sustained.
Normally, teams would return home immediately following a European match.
Nonetheless, even if the players and staff flew back, the coach would still need to make the journey back to Madrid.
The newly unveiled luxury Real Madrid bus was introduced in October 2024 to transport players to their matches.
This state-of-the-art branding draws inspiration from the renovated Bernabeu stadium, which underwent a £1.5 billion reconstruction.
The bus also highlights the club’s most prominent achievements.
Inside, players can relax on plush leather seats, each adorned with the club’s crest on the headrest.
